I'm one of the original team members of Wagga Physiotherapy, practicing here now for over 25 years. I graduated from Queensland University and have always had a focus in Sports Physiotherapy and Musculoskeletal/Spinal dysfunctions. I've worked with many Rugby Union teams including the QLD Reds and still maintain my interest in the sport.
I left QLD for a change of scenery and worked at RPA and then opened my own Practice in the RPA Medical Centre where I worked closely with the Orthopaedic Surgeons. My husband and I moved to Wagga for a country lifestyle as we were both keen Equestrians following the Eventing circuit, however I have now swapped my steed for a road bike and lycra (slightly worse than tight jodphurs!!)
The focus in my work is on acute rehab following Orthopaedic Surgery, including hydrotherapy, cervical spine dysfunction and hip tendinopathies. I tend to leave the on paddock sports physiotherapy to the younger members of the team, however I have spent time and energy on cycling postures and bike fit.
My idea of relaxation is a glass of Chardy overlooking our paddocks with my retiree ponies in the background.
